Jessica Mulroney gets nostalgic over a memorable royal wedding moment

Meghan Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney got nostalgic over the weekend, reminiscing on one of her kids’ scene-stealing moments during the royal wedding. Sharing a sweet snap with her three children, the entire group dressed in summer whites, the proud mom captioned the photo, “That face Brian is making reminds me …” as the eight-year-old boy smiles widely for the camera. On May 19, that same smile delighted fans around the world as the pageboy and his twin brother rolled up to the chapel with Meghan to help carry her veil.

On the Duchess of Sussex’s big day, as the world waited with bated breath to see the royal bride for the first time, Brian gazed out of the car and up at St. George’s Chapel with a wide smile and the most mesmerized look on his face. And while it was believed that the grandeur of the affair had caused his jaw to drop, it was actually the sound of the trumpets! Dad Ben Mulroney explained on Your Morning that when he asked his son what had made him so excited he said he’d never heard a real trumpet before.

Stylist Jessica, who has been a close friend and sartorial sounding board for Meghan since her time in Toronto filming Suits, shared the sweet snap on Sunday (Aug. 19) and her followers didn’t miss a beat sharing their excitement. One of her fans commented “Yes, that face reminded me too as soon as I swiped up and saw it,” while another wrote, “Pure Gold!!! One of my favourite moments from the wedding- priceless.”

Brian and John were joined by pageboys Jasper Dyer and Prince George, as well as bridesmaids Zalie Warren, Princess Charlotte, Florence van Cutsem, Ryan Litt, their four-year-old sister Ivy and Remi Litt. It was certainly one of the cutest wedding parties ever, and the audience didn’t miss out of a number of sweet moments – like when George comforted crying bridesmaid Zalie. "The kids had a chance to get to know each other a little bit at these rehearsals and some get-togethers as well," added Ben. "They sort of came together in a little bit of a 'club' before this happened."
