Duchess Kate reveals how she wants Prince George and Princess Charlotte to take after her

The Duchess of Cambridge has always been a lover of the great outdoors, so it’s no surprise she wants Prince George and Princess Charlotte to follow in her royal footsteps! While out for a fun day in Essex's Gilwell Park with Scouts kids on Thursday (March 28), Kate revealed she’d love her children to join the troupe.

According to People, the mom-of-three opened up about her experience as a Brownie and an adult volunteer to 14-year-old Lauren Noble, saying: “She said she would like them to go into the scouting community because she loves what it stands for – that it’s a very open and inclusive way into life... She said it would be a great thing for them to get involved in.”

Duchess Kate wasn’t afraid to get a little messy while celebrating the park’s 100th anniversary with the Beaver Scouts at the Scouts headquarters! She dipped her hands into some paint for a craft session and even climbed into their handmade hiding spot, to which the duchess asked: “It’s very waterproof, isn’t it?”

Not only will they take after Kate, the Cambridge children have also inherited the late Princess Diana’s love of dance. The adorable kiddos – who welcomed their baby brother, Prince Louis, in 2018 – already have quite a roster of activities. George, 5, and three-year-old Charlotte both call dancing and ballet one of their favourite hobbies. Back in May 2018 while in Malta, Prince William told the countrys Prime Minister: “My daughter Charlotte loves dancing.” He added that George's school, St. Thomas’s Battersea, has a curriculum including “everything from swimming lessons to ballet classes.”
